Position SummaryThe HRIS Analyst I reports to the HRIS Manager and supports the implementation, maintenance, and daily operation of Human Resources information systems and processes. This position works with managers and employees to resolve HRIS-related issues, maintains employee data and system processes, develops reports, and provides training and support to end users.
The HRIS Analyst I will primarily support ADP and other HR systems, including Recruiting Management and Electronic I-9, while assisting with system updates, reporting, compliance requirements, and process improvements.
Responsibilities- Maintain HRIS systems and processes under the direction of the HRIS Manager.
- Process new hires and employee status changes in ADP.
- Manage and troubleshoot MyADP access and end-user issues.
- Work with managers and employees to resolve HRIS-related questions and issues.
- Assist with system configuration changes based on organizational policies and processes.
- Review and maintain payroll-related items and benefit accruals and resolve issues as needed.
- Develop and process HRIS reports and assist with HR data and reporting needs.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Recruiting Management and Electronic I-9.
- Maintain tuition assistance tracking in ADP.
- Maintain certification differentials and other HR-related system information.
- Maintain the MHN organizational chart.
- Complete regulatory and compliance reporting, including CES, BLS, and EEO reporting.
- Maintain HR intranet pages.
- Provide training and support to HRIS end users.
- Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
- Serve as Time Manager for SMMC Human Resources.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of five years of experience in information systems or Human Resources, preferably with HRIS experience.
- Working knowledge of HCM systems, system support, and maintenance.
- Experience with ADP or another HCM application is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; MS Access experience is a plus.
- Experience with database reporting; ADP reporting experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of HR processes, including benefits, payroll, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, and employee data management.
- Ability to analyze HR data and reports.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and managers.
- Ability to provide training and end-user support.
- Ability to assist with system implementations, upgrades, and related projects.
This position requires regular computer use and keyboarding, as well as the ability to move throughout the work environment as needed.
Skills Required
