Job Description
As a RAM Selection Equipment Manager, you will lead and manage a team of equipment engineers to oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Study equipment performance, reliability, upgrades and safety issues. Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process, and provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. As Section Leader, you will also partake in the selection, development, and sustainability of a high-value workforce.
Responsibilities and Tasks
1. Forecast and budget on equipment upkeep cost and any other related expenditures. Drive improvement activities to reduce equipment upkeep costs.
2. Develop system or procedure to ensure first time success in PM, effective troubleshooting that result in low MTTR and spare cost.
3. Work closely with Process and Manufacturing Managers to address equipment constraint issues.
4. Establish and monitor supplier performance metrics to drive quality and cost improvements. Develop a good working relationship with suppliers.
5. Set performance expectation for employees and have regular review to keep track of performance. Clearly define responsibility and develop empowerment in the group. Jointly work with employees to develop their career path.
6. To provide support and adequate resources to ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS) requirements, and participate in improving and maintaining the EHSS management system. Insure good practice of housekeeping on tools, equipment, and materials.
7. Insure that employees have the required training, knowledge, and competency in performing the tasks.
Education
1. Required master's degree or equivalent experience
2. Familiar with Engineering, system development
3. Familiar with Database language.
4. At least 5 years of experience in semiconductors.
5. internal GJS need E3 above.
Qualifications
1. Demonstrated success in leading teams in defining and solving engineering's related problems.
2. Advanced and thorough understanding of the Metro function.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
4. Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
