Job Posting TitleMgr Financial Modeling and Consulting - REMOTEJob DescriptionThe Manager of Financial Modeling will lead the team responsible for the pricing and financial modeling of Prime services. This position will coordinate the establishment of standard methodologies, reports, analytical models, processes and strategies in support of the profitability and pricing functions. Success in this position will require having or acquiring a good, current understanding of the PBM marketplace, including the various revenue sources available.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and provide guidance to the pricing and financial modeling team
- Responsible for building and maintaining models in support of underwriting and pricing (new and renewal business)
- Provide pricing targets for use by the underwriting team in the RFP process
- Investigate key drivers of costs and profitability as they apply to general and specific pricing projects
- Propose & implement changes to improve accuracy of pricing & profitability analyses
- Manage department budget, staffing, performance and development, and consistently demonstrate Prime's leadership expectations during interactions with direct reports, cross functional and external stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Business or related area of study or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
- 6 years of work experience in financial analysis
- 1 years of leadership/people management experience
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively lead a team to meet established goals and objectives
Preferred Qualifications
- PBM/healthcare, benefits consulting, actuarial or financial services experience
- Experience in creating pricing & profitability models
- Experience in pricing of PBM services
- Proficient in Excel, and Word. Proficiency in Access and related software a plus, including SAS Enterprise Guide
Physical Demands
- Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
