As Marketing Manager Customer Marketing EMEA, you will help communicate the CME Group value proposition by partnering with our local sales team to define and execute the go-to-market strategy across all owned, earned, and paid channels across specific verticals. Coverage regions will include Europe, Middle East and Africa.
What we're looking for:
A Multi-Channel Marketer: with a strong background in digital marketing (owned digital properties, social media channels, channel partners etc), with a proven ability to develop and execute localized campaigns tailored to diverse markets
A Facilitator: who is an experienced leader who can manage cross functional teams and effectively communicate changes to key stakeholders across the region.
An Optimizer: who will also be responsible for driving impactful events that deliver measurable ROI, ensuring that all Marketing activities align with broader business objectives
A Communicator: who is fluent in English and ideally also in Mandarin
What you'll create, develop and manage:
Develop digital strategies and execute tactics that acquire customers, generate revenue, and create awareness
Collaborate with local and international, cross-functional teams to drive marketing tactics and content including whitepapers, collateral, case studies, emails, and social media to reach the right audience at the right time - moving them successfully through the purchase funnel
Help with local conferences and customer facing events – ensuring a clear understanding of the event process with the ability to support internal partners throughout the event lifecycle and a clear focus on ROI and measurable outcomes
Work with the Education team to create strategic plans to grow awareness of CME Group as it relates to campaign and channel marketing efforts
Develop, test, optimize, and analyze messages and campaigns across integrated marketing channels
Provide marketing support to the Sales team for client expansion and upsell
Skills and Experience
5+ years experience in a marketing role
Experience in financial services, fintech, technology or B2B or B2C marketing a plus
Superior communication skills, strong attention to detail, a collaborative work style, and an unparalleled work ethic; collaboration across teams is crucial to success in this role
Experience with analyzing and interpreting marketing analytics
Previous agency experience within a digital marketing/ad tech environment is a huge plus in this highly visible role!
Reporting Structure
This individual will report to the Director of Customer Marketing and requires close collaboration with colleagues in U.S., LatAm, and APAC
Software Requirements
Required: proficiency in Google Cloud Products, Salesforce, and Google Analytics
Preferred: working knowledge of Marketing Cloud a huge plus!
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business related field required, MBA a plus
