Position Summary
Manager, Contracting, will help carry out the strategic vision for Quote to Cash team working closely with North America Q2C and Controllership Organization. This role is a leadership role reporting to Sr Mgr, Contracting that will require a candidate who can lead a team of contract specialist. They will oversee the contract entry operation, lead transition globally and manage stakeholders. This individual will maintain a strong control environment, quality assurance and process automation and develop a strong performing team.
Position Responsibilities & Essential functions
- Provide leadership and direction to direct reports and indirect staff
- Develop, implement, and manage departmental goals and objectives
- Create an environment for collaboration, innovation, learning, and succession development
- Acts as escalation point for direct staff as well processing guidance
- Partner with Sales, Shared services, Commercial pricing and Transformation teams to identify and implement process and systems improvements, driving continuous improvement as well as proactive response to ever changing business and industry needs
- Lead standardization of the processes across regions, development and maintenance of desktop procedures, policies and procedures for the department
- Lead development of global Quote to Cash reporting including daily/weekly/monthly dashboards, as well as executive management reporting for month/quarter end close requirements
- Implement tools that will lead to project effectiveness including data gathering, analysis and key performance metrics
- Ability to effectively communicate cross functionally and partner with internal business partners to drive initiatives
- Create and environment for empowerment, innovation, learning and succession development
Qualifications & Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent (preferred)
- Good knowledge of accounting and financial processes
- 10+ years of professional experience
- Extensive experience reviewing contracts, terms & conditions and contractual financial details
- Expert knowledge of standard processes in order to cash, ability to drive standardization and process efficiencies
- Meticulous attention to details
- Knowledge of large ERP system (i.e. Oracle, SAP, etc.) preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible, adaptable, proactive and self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work in multiple time zones
- Ability to work well in high pressure situations in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and manage numerous simultaneous priorities
- Minimal Travel
