About the Role

Responsible for the development of reports and analysis of Operations’ metrics to keep track of the team’s performance and understand the reasons behind the trends, keep track of issues and challenges that might impact the ability of the team to meet its business’ plans and objectives and help them make informed decisions.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develops monitoring reports to keep track of the team’s performance as well as challenges and issues that might impact the ability of the team to meet its business’ plans and objectives and help the team make informed decisions
    • Identifies all required data sets given the information requirements as specified in the business requirements
    • Determines queries to create reports as required 
    • Creates formulae where necessary in order to analyze data
    • Collaborates with other business units on reporting and data-related projects/initiatives
  • Analyzes metrics to understand the WHYs behind the trends and take necessary actions to improve them
    • Provide actionable insights including communication and presentation of findings to relevant business units / management
  • Handles metrics reporting to Group as well as to internal business units
    • Responsible for the accuracy and on-time delivery of all reporting requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related discipline with at least 2-3 years of experience in data analytics, reporting and metrics management
  • Experience using programming languages such as SAS, Python, SQL
  • Experience using visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI
  • Background in handling big data. Strong track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting data from large databases
  • Preferably with knowledge of insurance /business processes
  • Must be proficient in MS Office applications
  • Must be organized and keen to details
  • With good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
