Role Overview
We are looking for a well-rounded HR Generalist to join our People & Culture team in Bangalore.
This role will work closely with business leaders while also owning core HR operations, employee lifecycle management, and payroll processes.
The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic thinking and operational excellence, with the ability to build and scale people processes in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
● Act as a trusted partner to business leaders, aligning people initiatives with business goals.
● Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding, engagement, performance management, and career development.
● Drive HR operations including documentation, compliance, HRMS management, and process optimization.
● Own and manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.
● Partner with managers to address team challenges, improve engagement, and enhance organizational effectiveness.
● Support talent management initiatives such as succession planning, high-potential identification, and leadership development.
● Work with leadership to design and implement HR policies, frameworks, and scalable processes.
● Analyze people data to provide insights on workforce planning, retention, and organizational design.
● Drive employee engagement initiatives aligned with Metadome’s culture and values.
● Manage employee relations and grievance handling with empathy and fairness. Requirements
● 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure to HR Generalist / HRBP roles.
● Hands-on experience in HR operations and payroll management is mandatory.
● Strong understanding of core HR functions (performance management, talent management, employee relations, policy, and compliance).
● Proven ability to work closely with business leaders and influence outcomes.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
● Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset with comfort in using data for decision-making.
● Experience in a high-growth or startup environment is preferred.
