As a Merchant Payment Senior Analyst within PNC's Linga organization, you can sit in the United States.
• Responsible for supporting the profitability and growth of Company’s Merchant Services including the execution and approval of pricing for MS products/services
• Support business development teams in contract negotiations, request for proposal's (RFP’s) and other proposals regarding pricing by analyzing merchant statements to determine competitive pricing.
• Reviews contract specific pricing, financials, key business terms, and provide ad-hoc analysis for focus areas (e.g., new customer pricing, gain share arrangements, retentions/renewals, and the implementation of pricing strategies)
• Gather and analyze market data, providing recommendations on pricing adjustments to maximize volume and profitability
• Conduct competitive intelligence and pricing analysis on fee changes across segments
• Lead on interchange tracking from card issuing networks ·
• Maintain pricing models, plans and policies for use across the Issuer business segment, strategic analysis to identify actionable opportunities and risks
• Analyze and validate sub-agent commission information; coordinate and prepare commission reports and issue payments
Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting
This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.
Job Description
- Manages a portfolio of assets or liabilities with a primary focus on developing and executing pricing strategies. Performs duties relating to tax management as needed, including, but not limited to, the knowledge of and the ability to utilize tax laws, organizational tax practices, obligations, issues and trends.
- Develops, recommends and executes pricing strategy with joint accountability for results with key partners. Applies business insight and pricing tools to optimize pricing, including risk-based strategies for lending. Identifies and shares best practices with team members.
- Develops and utilizes reporting and insights to present strategy recommendations and results to senior management. Creates and provides insights to market leaders on pricing trends and results. Surveys and analyzes the competitive landscape continuously to identify risks and opportunities. Performs and oversees ad hoc pricing analysis and reporting.
- Manages rate exception process and strategy and provides guidance to front-line employees and managers. Creates, develops, executes and tracks exception rate policy and compliance. Recommends policy enhancements.
- Manages pricing inputs into annual planning process and quarterly and interim forecasts. Collaborates with key partners for overall product forecasts and plans. Identifies macroeconomic trends and drivers that influence market-wide volume fluctuations.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $129,350.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
