Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
【Buying, Merchandising & Analysis】
• Develop seasonal Retail merchandising assortment strategy including category mix planning and ensuring target price architecture are covered for Japan market
• Work with cross functional partners to create and execute balanced and profitable product assortments that fit customer, channels and door profiles
• Responsible for setting action plans and monitor KPIs based on buying strategies by managing product life cycle, sales & sell through maximization
• Responsible for maintaining assortment and line sheets; communicate changes in styles, deliveries, quantities and other merchandise operations update to appropriate cross functional team member where necessary
• Cross functional partnership with Supply Chain, Retail, VM, other regional buyers etc.
• Implement product knowledge trainings for stores, cross functional teams and Trade show support
• Analyze, track and report on business and product trends (weekly, monthly, quarterly and seasonally)
• Conduct Competitive Analysis periodically including Market trend, product and pricing insight; Share and propose appropriate actions where needed. 

Required Skill:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in merchandising or buying role in Outdoor and/or Sportswear Fashion industry
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent product sensibility
  • Ability to take initiative, ownership and accountability for their business
  • Passion to understand outdoor activities and products
  • Excell skill (Excell function) – good with data
  • PowerPoint skill
  • English preferred (but not mandatory)
