The Men’s Ministry Pastor is a strategic leader who is responsible for leading and implementing a creative, visionary, and effective ministry that will introduce men to Christ, help them grow in their faith, and equip them to make a spiritual difference in others.
responsibilities
- Build and lead an effective ministry that will pursue men at all costs
- Build and lead a leadership team (6-10 volunteer ministry heads) to carry out our mission
- Build and lead a men’s ministry team (study + environment leaders) to carry out our mission
- Create environments to help men come to know Jesus, grow, and serve
- Develop a multiplication mindset within the ministry by equipping men to make disciples
- Create budgets and ministry strategies that support the ministry plan
- Opportunity for the right candidate to be in the teaching rotation
- Oversee secondary ministry responsibility based on candidate’s giftedness and passion
- Participate in Pastoral duties as determined Campus Pastors + Leadership Team
Key Competencies and Qualifications:
- Models the qualifications of an elder (1 Tim 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9, 1 Peter 5:1-4)
- Clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing, personal relationship with Him
- Lives out the Core Values of ARBC and agrees with our Doctrinal Statement
- Capable team leader who inspires others to join in the pursuit of our mission
- Concerned for those who don’t know Jesus
- Leader and multiplier of people with a love and passion for making disciples
- Proven experience in developing people and teams
- Proven experience in leading and scaling an effective, growing ministry
- Strong, engaging teacher
- Self-motivated, humble, teachable, and relational
- Works with diligence, integrity, creativity, and energy
- Seminary degree preferred
