As a member of the Product Marketing team, you will contribute to our EMEA organization, while working in a diverse and multicultural environment. In this role by collaborating with internal & external stakeholders you will promote memory products and sense EMEA market needs as well as competitor activity.
You will contribute to expansion of the product's market coverage by developing, implementing and directing effective product marketing strategies to maintain existing markets, generate new markets and secure long-term leadership in achieved markets.

Role and Responsibilities

Key accountabilities:
  • Contribute to annual budget planning with a focus on day-to-day business execution
  • Develop and manage business plans and MBO guidelines across product, channel, application and region
  • Analyze sales performance and define pricing in line with global strategy
  • Monitor European memory markets, applications and customer requirements
  • Conduct competitor analysis and identify new business opportunities
  • Provide Sales teams with product, availability and pricing support
  • Plan and execute product promotion campaigns
  • Ensure efficient launches of current and upcoming memory products
  • Manage memory supply chain to ensure reliable customer supply and meet targets
  • Ensure an effective and efficient stock management
  • Prepare and deliver sales statistics, presentations and regular reports on market trends and applications in Europe

  • Memory Marketing and Sales team
  • Technical marketing and QA team
  • Samsung Semiconductor Korea Sales Team
  • Major European Customers & Distributor

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Economics, or a related field; a major in Marketing is an advantage
  • min. 5 years of experience in Product Marketing or Technical Marketing within the Semiconductor industry
  • Strong understanding of EMEA memory markets (Computing, Consumer/Industrial, Mobile) and memory products (DRAM, FLASH) is a significant plus
  • Ability to analyze European markets, competitor activities, and industry trends, and to identify key product and customer insights
  • Extensive marketing thinking from commercial, technical & strategic perspectives
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to clearly explain products, technologies and concepts to both internal and external audiences
  • Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills at all levels
  • Strong customer orientation with the ability to manage conflicts and to drive things forward
  • Solid command of English, both spoken and written
  • Experience and affinity for working with diverse cultures

Skills Required

  • Bachelor, Master, MBA or equivalent in electronics and/or economics preferably with a major in marketing
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience within product marketing and/or technical marketing organizations ideally in the semiconductor area
  • Experience of memory products (DRAM, FLASH)
