Aquatech immediately needs a full-time Applications Engineer to work on-site remotely in the US. The hours of this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Job Summary:
This Applications Engineer will support the growth of our QUA Technologies portfolio. This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer with hands‑on experience designing membrane‑based systems (UF, RO, EDI) and deep knowledge of water chemistry. Job Description:-
Design membrane treatment systems (UF, RO, EDI/FEDI) including process calculations and performance modeling

Develop PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, and proposal‑level design packages

Analyze water chemistry to optimize performance and mitigate fouling/scaling

Support sales teams with technical proposals and customer discussions

Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Product Management, and Operations

Assist with piloting, product validation, and technical training as needed

Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience designing membrane systems with working knowledge of different UF membranes required
- Strong water chemistry and process engineering background required
- Experience with membrane sizing tools (ROSA, WAVE, IMSDesign, etc.) required
- Experience preparing engineering documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, equipment lists) required
- Ability to travel up to ~20%
Skills Required
