Role description:

The Pump Centre is seeking a proactive and organised Membership & Events Officer to support the delivery and growth of our industry-leading events programme and membership activities.

Working closely with the Business Development Manager and Events Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating a diverse portfolio of events, helping to ensure an excellent experience for delegates, speakers, sponsors and members. This includes supporting the delivery and growth of:

- Pump Centre training courses, both in-person and online

- Water Industry Maintenance Working Group (WIMWG) technical seminars, with opportunities to expand and develop the UK wide programme

- Regional conferences and exhibitions across the UK, with scope to increase collaboration with both new and existing water company sponsors

- The Water Equipment Show – The water industry flagship trade show

- Members' Council activities and meetings

Alongside event delivery, you will support membership administration and enquiries, acting as a key point of contact for members and prospective members. Working with the Business Development Manager, you will help deliver initiatives that strengthen member engagement, support retention and contribute to the continued growth of The Pump Centre's membership community.

This is a varied role combining event coordination, stakeholder engagement, customer service and administration. Some travel across the UK will be required to support event delivery and member activities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy and rewarding environment.
