City Cast, the fast-growing 13-city network of daily local podcasts and newsletters, is hiring a Membership Coordinator to help maintain day-to-day operations of our membership program. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, can write clean and compelling copy and maintain visual brand standards, and brings a customer service approach with our members.

Key Responsibilities:
Benefit Implementation
- Assist the Membership Manager with the implementation of member benefits across the network
- Develop, order, and ensure the consistent quality of member merchandise and printed materials
- Manage member offers such as giveaways, coupon codes and merch gifts
- Assist the city teams with the planning and organizing of member events
- Write and facilitate email communications from city teams to members
Campaign Support
- Write compelling and clear copy for membership campaign emails
- Build and schedule emails to members in our CMS
- Assist the city teams with messaging and talking points
- Work with the operations team to schedule campaign house ads across the podcast and newsletter
Membership Admin
- Manage membership inbox
- Help draft and disseminate membership best practices across city teams
- Execute on new program launch and campaign tasks as directed by Membership Manager
- Maintain clear documentation so key stakeholders can collaborate on membership efforts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing membership or subscription at a media company
- Experience working in a CMS
- Strong experience and aptitude for juggling multiple tasks
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for news and local media
- Experience working in the media industry is a plus!
Required:
- 2+ years of project management or coordination experience
This position is full-time and remote, with excellent benefits. The Membership Coordinator will report to the Membership Manager and work collaboratively with the executive team. The salary range is $65,000-$75,000, depending on experience.
