Medior Software Engineer

Do you enjoy supporting multiple teams and making an impact across the organization? We’re looking for a Medior Engineer to join our Marketing Automation Platform team and help us build secure, scalable, and innovative solutions.

What you are going to do

• Build and enhance the platform: Design, develop, and maintain software components using JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js, and improve data collection for web and mobile

• Shape infrastructure and reliability: Implement Infrastructure as Code with AWS CDK, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and automate processes for scalability

• Ensure stability and compliance: Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and handle SRE tasks (IT controls, CMDB, ServiceNow, SailPoint)

• Collaborate and share expertise: Work closely within an agile SCRUM team, engage with stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers

• Document and design for the future: Maintain clear technical documentation and architectural diagrams

We’re looking for someone who brings the following experience and skills:

• Proficient in TypeScript, Node.js, and GIT

• Experience with AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (preferably AWS CDK)

• Skilled in Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring/troubleshooting

• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to turn business needs into technical solutions

• Familiarity with one or more: Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Journey Optimizer

• Knowledge of SRE practices, monitoring tools (Splunk, ITSI)

• Experience in API development, security, and compliance (GDPR, IT controls)

Who you will work with

The Marketing Automation Platform team is responsible for the vision, software development, and maintenance of a well-architected, reliable, and secure technical marketing platform based on the Adobe suite. 

You will join a team consisting of 3 Engineers and 1 Analyst. We work according to SCRUM and have an open, collaborative culture. We work one day per week at the office in The Hague (Tuesday). You will have plenty of room to grow and learn new technologies and concepts. The team works intensively with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO). These platforms are central to our work: we are responsible for the technical setup, further development, and management of data collection towards these systems, and we build integrations (APIs) to ensure they function optimally.
