Job Summary/Description:

The Regional Media Executive is a critical member of our Sales Team – managing, renewing, and upselling/cross selling to existing agencies/clients. This role is responsible for the sales process from initial contact to closing, invoicing, and payment. Regional Media Executives act as the primary point of contact for regional agencies/clients and Gray Media internal teams (Sales leadership, News, Marketing, Operations, GDM, Business Manager).

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of multi-million dollars in transactional accounts
• Negotiate and close all agency requests and renewals
• Maximize share of business by developing agency (and client) relationships and providing unprecedented client service
• Identify growth opportunities with existing accounts
• Achieve or exceed monthly, annual, and annual sales goals
• Check emails & texts often and respond promptly
• Preempt oversells and program changes
• Proficient in various Wide Orbit platforms: Wide Orbit Traffic, Wide Orbit Connect, Wide Orbit Media Sales, and Prisma
  o Order entry
  o Order revisions
  o Makegoods
  o Inventory report
  o Revenue report
  o Pull and send pre & post logs to clients who require them
  o Aging/Collections
  o Avails
  o Pull posts in WOMS during and after campaigns to ensure delivery
  o Create a program estimate in WOMS as needed
• Ensure WOC is clear multiple times throughout the day (orders & preempts entered in a timely fashion)
• New agency/advertiser profile setup
• Send market condition reports to agencies
• Update pending in Matrix regularly and as accurately as possible
• Assist Director of Sales with rate card programming updates and p-code guidance
• Production work orders via Monday.com when needed
• Pull Nielsen reports
• Traffic backup when needed
• Maintain billboard inventory
• Assist managers and ME’s with pulling reports when needed
• Assist Media Executives as needed
• Assist with new Media Executive Training
• Assist with preparation of trade contracts and orders
• Coordinate with Corporate Formatting Specialist for format updates

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in broadcast television, sports sponsorships, digital media, digital marketing strategy, or client solutions.
• Proficiency in Gray systems such as Wide Orbit, OMS, BI Tools, Matrix and/or CRM, Nielsen, Media Monitors
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and operational information into clear, agency/client-ready insights.
• Skilled at bridging technical detail to business context to help position solutions effectively.
• Understanding of attribution models, ROI reporting, and performance measurement.
• Highly motivated, proactive, collaborative, and a team player.
