Primary Purpose
The Art Director position is an opportunity to serve as a technical lead for architecture, design and interface decisions related to next-generation, global Web platform and designs for ADUSA and household brands across various mediums, from banner media to other offsite media.
In addition to media design, the Art Director will establish cross-functional and cross-border publisher relationships designed to accelerate and broaden our growth in the national online channel. To include enhancements and creation of technology platforms and applications that can be used effectively across ADUSA.
Help establish overall work processes and standards for the AD Retail Media team. Create multiple draft solutions to a marketing creative problem that consistently meet business and communication objectives. Able to evaluate multiple concepts, and discern and articulate which ideas are most valid and worth pursuing
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, and ME, Hyattsville, MD.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • You work with key members of the management team to define and drive creative strategy
  • Develop creative samples that are error-free and display creativity, technique, and digital expertise in both short- or long-term executions
  • You're a self-motivated, organized designer who works efficiently to meet tight deadlines
  • Drive the design methodology of the media development process
  • You can confidently shift between brand/publisher strategies and tactics, from easy layouts to long-term creative strategies
  • Your design style is flexible and you're a master of solution-based executions that are on brand
  • You offer constructive solutions when approached with challenges or feedback
  • You keep up with the latest industry trends
  • You're a strong communicator and collaborator
  • Review and provide guidance to AD Retail Media's publisher initiatives


Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business or related field
  • 3+ years of professional digital design experience
  • Ecommerce media experience
  • Proven time management skills - able to sustain timeline management and campaign deliverables
  • Understanding of CPG environment either through direct engagement experience or similar exposure
  • Comfortable with DSP, DMP, PMP terminology & discussion
  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Strategic mindset to develop media recommendations and deliver on revenue goals
  • You're a self-motivated, organized designer who works efficiently to meet tight deadlines
