Qualifications

* As a Medication Technician your primary responsibility is the direct care of our residents

*Responsible for safely preparing, administering, and documenting prescribed medications to residents

* Interact with residents and families

* The ability to work as a team member along with all departments

* Ensure accurate documentation throughout your shift

* Ability to maintain confidentiality 

* Lift and/or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Push residents weighing in excess of 250 pounds in wheelchairs. 


Skills Required

  • Current Maryland Medication Technician Certification
  • Ability to safely prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications

  • Ability to interact effectively with residents and families
