Mechatronics Engineer

Your Mission

• Build and iterate humanoid robot hardware across prototypes, pushing reliability and performance step by step

• Work closely with the lead hardware designer to refine mechanical systems and drive design improvements

• Act as the bridge between hardware and software teams, making sure integration is smooth and the robot works in the real world

• Develop custom electronics, including PCB design, soldering, wiring, and system bring-up

• Stress-test components and subsystems under demanding conditions, then feed insights back into the design cycle

• Design and deliver advanced teleoperation systems—from early concepts to integration and validation on hardware

• Document and record builds, modifications, and validation results clearly to accelerate iteration and scale knowledge across the team
  

What You Bring to the Table

• A proven track record building and shipping complex electromechanical or robotic systems

• Hands-on mastery of prototyping using modern fabrication methods (3D printing and other additive manufacturing, CNC and other fabrication processes), electromechanical assembly, firmware integration, and troubleshooting

• Deep understanding of mechanical design, kinematics, and force dynamics

• Experience with PCB design tools and hands-on electronics assembly

• Skilled with actuators, sensors, and embedded control hardware

• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Onshape) and the ability to turn designs into reliable prototypes

• Drive to solve hard problems and push systems to new levels of performance
