The Role
EnerMech are recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor to work on site with us in Gladstone. This is a full time position reporting to the Project Manager. Duties will include;
- Preparation of job packs
- Report directly to on site services manager/ project manager
- Negotiation with suppliers and procurement of materials and services
- Coordination of site and workshop activities
- Management of processes to ensure project and contractual deliverables including time, cost, quality, and scope requirements
- Preparation of HSE and Quality compliance documentation, Control and assurance of the safety and compliance of all onsite and workshop scopes and work crews
- Ensure safety of all employees and contractors working in operating unit or department by driving continuous improvement towards a true safety culture
- Be able to make decisions based on knowledge and experience
- Manage and capture workforce hours and productivity
Applicants must have:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supervision of Mechanical & Engineering Scopes in an Oil and Gas, Mining, or Industrial environment.
- Minimum of a Nationally Recognised Trade qualification.
- Proven Leadership, Team Management with a positive can-do attitude
- Good problem-solving skills.
- A demonstrated strong commitment to Health, Safety and Environment.
