Lead Mechanical Teams Across Major Industrial Maintenance Works
EnerMech is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Supervisor Mechanical professionals for upcoming shutdown and maintenance project opportunities throughout the Gladstone region.
This opportunity is suited to hands-on mechanical leaders with strong experience supervising site-based maintenance, shutdown, breakdown, and project work across heavy industrial environments.
About the Role
As a Supervisor Mechanical, you will lead mechanical work crews on site, ensuring scopes are delivered safely, efficiently, and to quality expectations across planned maintenance, shutdowns, and project activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising mechanical works across shutdowns, maintenance, breakdowns, and project scopes
- Leading site crews and coordinating subcontractors where required
- Planning daily work activities, resources, materials, and priorities
- Preparing and supporting job packs, work fronts, and handover documentation
- Monitoring safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance
- Liaising with clients, project managers, site leadership, and support teams
- Driving compliance with HSE, quality, and site requirements
- Supporting continuous improvement and a strong safety-first culture
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in a Mechanical Supervisor or similar site leadership role
- Minimum 5 years’ supervision experience across mechanical or engineering scopes
- Experience within oil and gas, mining, LNG, power generation, resources, or heavy industrial environments
- Nationally recognised mechanical trade qualification, such as Mechanical Fitter or equivalent
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making capability
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage crews safely and effectively
- Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards
- Recent Police Clearance
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Relevant site inductions, high-risk tickets, confined space, working at heights, and first aid tickets highly regarded
