Mechanical Fitter Repairs and Rebuilds

We are searching for self-motivated, reliable, energetic Mechanical Fitter to join the great team in Beresfield. 

You will be responsible for:

• Strip & Assess of Minerals Processing Equipment
• Refurbish Minerals Processing Equipment
• Completing modifications to Minerals Processing Equipment
• Repair, assemble, install items in accordance with approved procedures and drawings
• Construction of plant equipment
• Carry out Workshop duties a s requested by Leaders
• Completion of all allocated work as part of the on the job training supplied by FLSmidth Pty Limited
• Adherence to all legislative requirements and to other company policies and/or procedures
• Adherence to FLSmidth Safety policies and procedures
• Represent FLSmidth Pty Limited in a positive and responsible manner at all times.

What you bring

• Trade Certificate in Fitting
• Previous employment associated with repair and maintenance of Minerals Processing Equipment in particular; Crushers, Vibrating Screens and Gearboxes will be considered
• Basic Welding skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• A team player approach
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as required (FLSmidth Pty Limited to fund relevant training if required)
• Forklift License
• Drivers license
