We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Manager - Mechanical (Building Services) to join our Building Services team in Singapore and become part of a network of over 400 Building Services Engineers across the Asia Pacific. About You
You’ll lead mechanical design delivery on complex projects across sectors including commercial, healthcare and institutional.
You are a collaborative and solutions-focused engineer with strong electrical building services design experience and the ability to lead teams and deliver quality outcomes.
You bring sound technical judgement, strong stakeholder skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a consultancy environment.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible to:
Lead the delivery of complex mechanical building services projects across multiple sectors, ensuring high quality outcomes
Manage projects from concept development through detailed design, planning and resourcing
Lead M&E teams to deliver compliant, high-quality solutions, with accountability for technical excellence and delivery performance.
Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and technical report writing
Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants
In charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting
Respond to client enquiries and needs by providing clear, trusted technical advice that maximises understanding, clarity and efficiency
Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills to build trusted relationships with clients, consultants and contractors, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment
Mentor and coach junior peers, contributing to capability building across the M&E discipline
Key Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore, will be an advantage)
At least 7 years of relevant experience in an engineering consultancy environment
Experience leading or supporting HVAC design and building services co-ordination in healthcare, commercial, hotel, industrial and school projects.
Proficient in engineering design tools and BIM platforms (e.g. Navisworks)
Strong communication, stakeholder management and client-facing skills
Client-focused with a strong commitment to quality delivery
