Job DescriptionMechanical Engineer
Feasibility analysis, Mechanical concept creation, Illumination concept creation, Mechanical structure design, Support to customer for mechanical design issues and mechanical parts approval
Main Responsible area/tasks
- Mechanical structure design
- Interfaces Mechanical Engineering points (for example: restricted area file of PCB, connector position)
- Mechanical structure design including material selection, CAD modeling, tolerance calculation, create drawings, create and update bill of material
- Review supplier drawing/specifications. Review supplier tooling design.
- Communicate with customer on design requirements and design release
- ME design planning ( ME schedule)
- Design quality
- Risk analysis for mechanical engineering
- Review design with tooling expert and manufacturing planning
- Work on initial sample inspection reports
- DFMEA create and release
- Documentation
- Documentation of development results (CAD data, test specification, review protocols)
- Create and release test plan, test specification
- Support
- Coordination with responsible manufacturing planer
