What You’ll Do:
- Design, build and operate integrated test labs for one of the world's first FAA certified eVTOL aircraft
- Work with subsystem stakeholders to develop mechanical test equipment requirements
- Design test rigs and test benches to be used in hardware integration test labs
- Select commercially available components to be used in lab builds
- Complete handbook calculations to verify margins of safety of your designs
- Manage CAD library of test equipment in Team Center
- Manage external suppliers to procure lab components and/or manufacture Archer designed test equipment and oversee fabrication through final buy-off
- Aid technicians in installation and check-out of test equipment to ensure proper function as designed
What You Need:
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience with either product design and/or test equipment in aerospace, automotive, or a related industry
- BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field
- Strong engineering fundamentals with the ability to complete analysis without the aid of application specific software
- Familiarity with aerospace or automotive lab test hardware
- Strong mechanical design skills with the ability to own a project from requirements through detailed design and fabrication
- Hands-on skills with both mechanical and electrical systems
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with Siemens NX and Teamcenter
- Experience with finite element analysis
- Experience with HIL test labs
- Experience with test instrumentation and data acquisition equipment

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
