BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of professional hands-on experience in Mechanical Engineering.
- Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
- Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Background checks are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Industrial-level working knowledge in material properties, such as plastics, metal, adhesive, glass, PCBA, flex circuits, etc.
- Experience in troubleshooting cables and able to troubleshoot to the major component.
- Knowledge & application of GD&T techniques and knowledge of associated metrology approaches.
- Expertise working with overseas vendors, including but not limited to communication, DFMs, schedules, tooling issues, and some night calls.
- Testing and analysis experience (FEA, Simulation, Zemax, Ray Tracing, etc.).
- Experience with high-volume products.
- Experience delivering multiple successful consumer products to production from concept inception to shipping products.
- Design for manufacture and assembly experience.
- Proficiency in presenting engineering designs, proposals, and reports.

The salary range for this position is based on national rates. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base Salary: $82,000.00 - $135,000.00. Andrews Cooper is an equal-opportunity employer.
