More about the roleThis is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Mechanical Engineer (R&D Hardware team) in Eindhoven with Signify.
As a Mechanical Engineer you’ll be responsible for the development of connected smart luminaires. This includes products for entertainment, ceiling, spots, floor, table and outdoor products.
Design & Development: Create mechanical designs for smart luminaires.
Global Collaboration: Coordinate with teams in Poland, China, and other countries.
Problem Solving & Optimization: Address engineering challenges and optimize designs.
Prototype Testing & Validation: Build prototypes and ensure quality through testing.
Innovation & Sustainability: Develop energy-efficient, sustainable smart lighting solutions.
While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience in designing and developing mechanical components. Familiarity with product development for smart or connected devices.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
