Job Summary & Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our innovative team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical components for advanced metrology equipment. You will work alongside experienced professionals to solve real-world engineering challenges and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and components for semiconductor metrology equipment.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to evaluate system performance and ensure reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical and software components.
- Support prototyping and testing activities, including troubleshooting and performance evaluation.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications and testing reports.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA).
- Strong understanding of mechanics, materials, and thermal dynamics principles.
- Experience with simulation tools such as ANSYS or similar is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute.
