What You’ll Do

  • Design custom stainless steel process equipment using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
  • Create 3D models, fabrication drawings, piping layouts, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Quality from concept through production.
  • Interpret customer specifications and transform them into precision-engineered solutions.
  • Support manufacturing, participate in design reviews, and drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • Associate degree in CAD/Drafting or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred).
  • Strong mechanical drafting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • A passion for learning, problem-solving, and creating innovative solutions.

Bonus Points For

  • AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor experience
  • ERP/BOM/ECN experience (Syteline preferred)
  • ASME/BPE knowledge
  • Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience

Skills Required

  • Associates Degree in Computer Aided Design and Drafting or equivalent.
  • 1 year postgraduate experience in drafting and design.
  • Knowledge of 3D Parametric CAD.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
  • Detail oriented with solid understanding of drafting standards, design fundamentals, and fabrication processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Create and maintain piping arrangement drawings, 3D models, spool drawings, and bills of material.
  • Generate Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to document and publish design changes.
  • Willingness to travel (domestic and international) as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to carry a project from conception to production.
  • 1-2 years in a related industry using 3D parametric CAD with direct experience processing ECNs and BOMs.
  • Prior experience using Autodesk Inventor and/or Routed Systems.
  • Prior experience using Autodesk AutoCAD 2D/3D.
  • Experience with ERP software for item and bill-of-material creation; Syteline preferred.
  • Experience with ASME/BPE Bioprocessing Equipment standards.
  • Awareness of and prior experience implementing Continuous Improvement (CI).
