As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and products, contributing to the entire product development process from concept to implementation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative, reliable, and cost-effective engineering solutions that meet customer requirements and industry standards.

Your work will directly support product development by improving designs, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.

About the Job:

  • Design, develop, and improve mechanical components and products based on customer and business requirements.

  • Create and modify 3D models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.

  • Evaluate design concepts and recommend optimal technical solutions based on functionality, manufacturability, and performance.

  • Prepare technical reports, product specifications, and design documentation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and project management, to support product development activities.

  • Assist in planning project activities and coordinating engineering deliverables to meet customer expectations and project timelines.

  • Support manufacturing by ensuring designs comply with internal quality standards as well as applicable safety and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and engineering processes.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

  • Experience in mechanical design and product development.

  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks or other comparable CAD software.

  • Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

  • Good communication skills and English proficiency (B1 level or higher).

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with thermal analysis and electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g. ANSYS or similar).

  • Experience in the automotive or industrial sector.

  • Knowledge of magnetic field applications.

  • Familiarity with automotive quality standards (IATF) and ATEX requirements.

  • Experience working in a global manufacturing environment.
