As a Mechanical Design Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will design and develop cutting-edge mechanical solutions, ensuring high-quality and reliable products using your CAD proficiency and mechanical design expertise. The Growth Engine Structures Group within the Component Design & Analysis (CDA) directorate is responsible for the design, development and analysis of static gas turbine engine components. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing strength, fatigue, containment, heat transfer, and various other types of stress analyses. Other responsibilities include test support, communicating with Project engineering teams, resource and manpower planning, conduction of design reviews, presentations to internal and external customers, ensuring proper documentation of work performed and engaging in department process improvement initiatives.

YOU MUST HAVE

- Strong working knowledge of ANSYS finite element software & classical hand calculation methods
