An exciting new opportunity awaits as an Assistant Trade Manager looking after Fragrance at MECCA Bourke St! This role will immerse you in the end-to-end intricacies of support to manage a category in our flagship store. Harness your strengths in driving exceptional store results through your team. Day-to-day responsibilities:
As Assistant Trading Manager, you will work on a full-time basis. This will include shifts across late night and weekend peak trade, working alternate weekends on a 9day fortnight rotation.
Supports the delivery of exceptional customer experiences and ensures team adherence to customer service standards.
Works with Trading Manager to implement and execute trials and innovations, providing ongoing support and process improvement.
Collaborates with concession partners to deliver a seamless customer experience, enhanced operational efficiency, and drive trade.
Operates with agility and applies critical thinking to solve complex problems in a dynamic environment.
Actively manages tasks and deadlines to maximize floor time, benefiting the customer, team, and business.
Works closely with the Trading Manager and Services Manager to build and support a high-performing team and ensures the smooth running of store operations.
What you’ll bring to this role:
Extensive experience (minimum 2-years) managing a large format retail environment where you inspire, coach and train teams.
A true passion for exceptional customer service, going above and beyond for our customers to create MECCA-magic moments
Strong internal and external stakeholder management experience
Previous coaching and mentoring experience, focusing on team member development
A make-it-happen mindset with a proven ability to develop strong relationships
Genuine care for people, always striving to create the best possible team member experience
An ability to think big and long-term, and drive change through influencing others
