What You’ll Do:
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians within the APU
• Coordinate engineering activities to ensure process stability, equipment availability, and operational performance
• Drive manufacturing improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, capacity expansion, and cost reduction
• Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) objectives through equipment planning, investment proposals, and capacity management
• Define technical requirements and lead installation, validation, and qualification activities for new equipment and production processes
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with technical standards, product specifications, and operational requirements
• Optimize production layouts, material flow, and work instructions to improve efficiency and performance
• Monitor and improve key manufacturing KPIs, including OEE, RTY, productivity, and equipment performance
• Lead root-cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to process, equipment, customer complaints, and production issues
• Collaborate with Quality teams to reduce defects, improve process capability, and support customer and supplier issue resolution
• Coordinate PFMEA updates and implement robust error-proofing solutions (Poka-Yoke) to prevent defects
• Support new product introductions (NPI), ensuring manufacturability, process readiness, and successful industrialization
• Work closely with End-of-Line Test equipment suppliers and external partners for upgrades, troubleshooting, and technology improvements
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement through Kaizen initiatives, waste reduction, and best-practice sharing
• Support safety, ergonomics, environmental, and quality compliance while participating in audits and improvement programs
What We Need:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar technical role, preferably within Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• Experience coordinating engineering teams and/or managing technical projects
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience supporting production equipment, process optimization, and new product introductions
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective corrective actions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions
• Well-organized with excellent planning, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience working with Quality tools, PFMEA, root-cause analysis, and performance KPI management is considered an advantage
• Advanced English level (written and spoken)
• Strong leadership mindset with the ability to inspire, develop, and influence teams
