- Insights Business Partner: Act as consultant for MCO leaders, including Marketing Heads and Commercial Heads, promoting decision-making through the utilization of global reporting and specific local developments.
- Portfolio Strategies: Prioritize Biopharma and Vaccines portfolios, including Immunology, Rare Diseases, Onco-Hemato, Flu, RSV, and Brand Launches.
- Create a data acquisition strategy to support both analytics and operations
- Evaluate and inform Specialty Care’s GTM strategy creation with analytics and insights across Africa MCO
- Partner with Finance, Marketing Heads, Transformation Head, and Commercial Sales to deliver actionable insights addressing cross-GBU needs and ad-hoc requirements not met by global reporting offerings.
- Collaborate with local Business Partners to develop a systematic framework for insights generation and action.
- Execute market research agenda in compliance with company policies, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
- Lead the deployment of global-to-local reporting offerings and provide data stewardship as the local champion.
- Collaborate with global teams to align local needs with global strategies.
- Assist Sanofi hubs in transitioning reporting and ad-hoc operations.
- Leverage market insights provided by global GTMC as well as AI driven approach to derive local implications for Cross-GBU business needs.
- Initiate locally relevant Market Insights to keep up with the demand of +5 new launches per year, focusing primarily on Specialty Market
- Develop a comprehensive local market performance framework to support Marketing Heads' strategies with data-driven insights, including Medical Intelligence
- Market Research: Coordinate and execute the market research agenda in compliance with company policies and global strategy.
- Consolidate insights from local market studies/ reports; inform global team & local business team
- GLocal initiatives: Ensure the deployment of global-to-local offerings and promote organic adoption of global offerings.
- Ad-hoc Requirements: Evaluate and prioritize ad-hoc requirements (XGBU) from internal stakeholders in line with global Insights and Analytics strategy.
- Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in BI and market research.
- Facilitate +5 year strategic planning/ forecasting exercises
- +7 years in Business Intelligence or Business Analytics roles.
- Multi country exposure
- Strong Marketing experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical industry, special focus on Specialty Business
- Hands-on experience in Competitive Market Analysis including both descriptive and predictive techniques: Market Sizing, Segmentation, Market Performance, Primary research, Forecasting Analytics etc.
- Strong business partnering with flexibility to oscillate between Strategic and Operational Execution
- Proficient in structured data manipulation, data analysis and consumption.
- Basic knowledge of data extraction from DWH (Snowflake) and visualization tools (Power BI).
- Strong mental agility and understanding of statistical methods
- Financial Proficiency: Interpretae and use financial figures to support business decisions.
- Desirable programming skills in Python for data analysis (Pandas, Numpy).
- Strong Business Acumen with the ability to deliver actionable insights to address business key questions.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Marketing, or Data Science-related field
- 7+ years in Business Intelligence or Business Analytics roles
- Multi-country exposure and experience working across regional markets
- Strong marketing experience in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry, focus on specialty business
- Hands-on experience in competitive market analysis (market sizing, segmentation, market performance, primary research, forecasting analytics)
