YOUR MISSION:

The main mission of the MCC Planning & Performance Manager is to define the long-term MCC priorities by mastering global vision and adapting local specific priorities, to enhance cross-departmental integration and centralized budget consolidation and management, and to validate post-activation ROI, performance, and data integrity across all brand initiatives. In this role, he/she will interact internally with local Marketing, Communication, Client, and Commercial teams, as well as Global HQ stakeholders. The geographical coverage is Korea (Mono-region), and the functional scope encompasses MCC strategic prioritization, A&P budget control, integrated action plan alignment, performance dashboard management, data auditing, and post-activation performance review. The MCC Planning & Performance Manager will act as a strategic control tower and performance cell, assist the team in establishing operational frameworks; and support local leadership and cross-functional teams in maximizing investment efficiency and driving brand desirability as follows:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

HQ Priority Alignment & MCC Strategy

  • Master and translate Global HQ strategic guidelines into localized, actionable MCC frameworks and priorities for Cartier Korea.

  • Align conflicting business agendas across MarCom functions to establish a unified operational roadmap.

  • Ensure all integrated brand initiatives stay strictly aligned with Maison’s long-term vision and Core Brand Values.

Cross-Departmental Action Integration & Budget Management

  • Integrate execution plans across Marketing, Communication, Client, and Commercial teams into a cohesive annual MCC action plan.

  • Consolidate, track and manage division-wide A&P budget allocations with absolute numerical accuracy and financial discipline.

  • Govern strategic A&P budget distribution and consolidation across touchpoints based on priority frameworks and market opportunities.

  • Develop strategic rationales, scenario plans, and budget defense materials for local ExCo and HQ planning cycles (e.g., R0/FY).

Business Performance & Market Intelligence

  • Drive macro business performance analysis, preparing data-driven insights and materials for regular business reviews with Commercial teams.

  • Lead research on luxury market trends, macroeconomic indicators, competitor financial results, and relevant industry/consulting reports to put Cartier’s performance into strategic perspective.

  • Synthesize macro trends and competitor benchmarks to provide actionable market intelligence summaries for local leadership and HQ stakeholders.

Performance Analysis & Data Audit 

  • Design, manage, and update the MCC performance dashboard (utilizing business intelligence tools such as Looker Studio) to track key marketing, communication, and client activation metrics.

  • Lead MCC data audit & fiscal closing processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all departmental financial reports.

  • Conduct rigorous post-investment reviews and ROI audits evaluating A&P spending.

  • Feed post-investment insights, audit findings, and performance learnings back into upcoming planning cycles for continuous budget optimization.

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

KEY COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Data Analytics, or related.

  • Min +8~10 years of relevant experience in Strategic or Business Planning, Marketing Operations, Performance Management, or Business Analytics.

  • Luxury, Premium Retail, or top-tier Strategic Agency background required.

  • Proven track record in budget consolidation/ management, or fiscal governance, resource allocation, and marketing ROI evaluation with high-numerical accuracy and rigorous attention to detail in handling complex fiscal data.

  • Understanding MCC(MKT/Communication/Client) data auditing, KPI tracking, and building/managing interactive performance dashboards along with proficiency in BI and analytics tools (e.g., Looker / Looker Studio, Power BI, etc.) to model data and extract actionable strategic insights.

  • Strong financial acumen and data analytics skills to translate quantitative results into strategic executive recommendations.

  • Advanced skills, particularly high proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and SAP etc.

  • High level of structural thinking to navigate unstructured challenges.

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact/collaborate within a team and align cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Fluent in both Korean & English (written and spoken mandatory for global reporting, and strategy formulation).
