- Performs clerical duties associated with Materials Planning & Scheduling
- Performs clerical functions to assist material planners in coordinating raw materials for efficient production.
- Uses systems to monitor and track materials from purchasing, processing, warehousing, and production.
- Inputs material needs, including all codes, brands, and contact information necessary to process orders in system or database.
- Tracks and develops reports to monitor performance metrics such as inventory levels, scheduled deliveries, and supplier performance.
- Required education and experience: High School Diploma/GED required and 0-3 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Preferred education and experience: Associate's Degree
- Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Organizational skills.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

Computer experience a must & be able to create storeroom part numbers, locations, inventory adj., & min/max levels for business needs | Able to work 2nd or 3rd shift hours | Team player | Fast learner, able to multitask, look up/order parts quickly as issues arise, clean work area & organized
Required QualificationsSkills Required
