Job Description:

The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing the master production schedule to balance customer demand, inventory targets, and capacity constraints. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Finance to ensure service, cost, and inventory objectives are met while supporting S&OE/SIOP processes.

AS A MASTER SCHEDULER, YOU WILL:

  • Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule based on demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory policies.

  • Translate demand plans into executable production plans while considering capacity, material availability, and lead times.

  • Analyze and resolve schedule conflicts, shortage, and constraints.

  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure feasible production plans.

  • Monitor and adjust schedules in response to demand changes, supply disruptions, or capacity issues.

  • Support S&OE/SIOP meetings by providing schedule scenarios, risks, and recommendations.

  • Track and report key KPI’s such as schedule adherence, service level, and backlog.

  • Drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, process efficiency, and system utilization.

  • Ensure compliance with planning policies and procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field.

  • Strong understanding of MRP and demand planning concepts.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite).

  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Analytical thinking and scenario planning

  • Attention to detail with a big-picture mindset

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.

Onsite Work Arrangement:  

This role is based fully onsite, and not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities.
