Role Overview

We are seeking a Master Scheduler that will own the translation of S&OP-approved demand into executable production as well as assembly and test plans across rate production and R&D manufacturing environments. This role ensures schedule integrity, material readiness, and capacity alignment while balancing the rigor of production execution with the agility required for development and prototype builds.  This leader operates cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Assembly & Test, and Manufacturing Programs to deliver hardware on time, at quality, and at cost in a regulated aerospace & defense environment.


What You'll Do...

  • Scope & Impact
    • Manages operational schedule execution for both rate production programs as well as development/R&D programs.
    • Convert S&OP demand into master production schedules and shop-floor plans in collaboration with organizational stakeholders, including manufacturing operations and production control analysts.
    • Influences delivery performance, customer commitments, and operational readiness
    • Indirectly leads planners/schedulers or provides functional leadership across programs
    • Drives risk mitigation for material, capacity, and schedule constraints
  • Core Responsibilities
    • Own production scheduling across production and R&D environments
    • Translate S&OP demand signals into executable manufacturing plans
    • Maintain schedule adherence and lead recovery actions when at risk
    • Partner with Engineering and Quality on build readiness, ECO impacts, and configuration changes
    • Collaborating with Supply Chain to ensure material availability and supplier alignment
    • Lead fulfillment risk identification, mitigation, and escalation
    • Utilize ERP/MRP systems to drive planning accuracy and execution discipline
    • Champion continuous improvement in planning stability, flow, and lead time
  • Leadership Expectations
    • Demonstrates leadership level ownership of outcomes, not just plans
    • Communicate clearly with executive, program, and shop-floor stakeholders
    • Coaches and develops supply chain talent; establishes standard work and accountability
    • Balances data-driven decision making with practical execution judgment
    • Models’ compliance, discipline, and urgency expected in A&D manufacturing

You have...

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years’ experience in manufacturing fulfillment, production planning, or scheduling
  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense, or Automotive manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience supporting S&OP-driven planning
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice to have...

  • APICS CPIM or CSCP (or in progress)
  • Experience with R&D, NPI, prototypes, or LRIP environments
  • Background in regulated manufacturing (AS9100, ISO9001)

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $110,000-$143,000 base salary.  Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
