Job Profile Summary:
The Master Scheduler is responsible for driving the end-to-end planning, prioritization, and execution of warehouse order fulfillment in a fast-paced, multi-client 3PL environment. This senior-level individual contributor ensures alignment between customer commitments, system configuration, and operational execution to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and maximize order fill rate.This role serves as the central control point for order flow, balancing competing priorities across a high-SKU, dynamic environment with seasonal demand variability. Success in this role requires strong system expertise, analytical capability, and proactive customer communication.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own order prioritization and release strategy to ensure SLA adherence and customer commitments are met
- Manage scheduling across same-day, daily, and forward-looking planning horizons
- Configure and maintain system-driven scheduling logic within Blue Yonder WMS, Odoo, OpenDock, and TMS
- Ensure accurate order allocation, wave planning, and execution readiness
- Monitor order flow and proactively adjust priorities to prevent service failures
- Serve as a key point of contact for customer communication related to order status, risks, and fulfillment timing
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, inventory, transportation, and customer service teams to ensure aligned execution
- Develop and maintain Excel-based planning tools and reporting to support decision-making
- Analyze performance trends and drive improvements focused on SLA adherence and order fill rate
- Support peak and seasonal planning by aligning workload, priorities, and system configuration
- Identify and resolve system, allocation, and process issues impacting fulfillment performance
- Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Management System.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, planning, or scheduling, preferably in a 3PL environment
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis and reporting)
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment workflows, allocation logic, and operational constraints
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in English, including the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English, is required for this position.
