About the job 

Job purpose 

• Secure master data (MD) quality and availability at the Sanofi target 

• Support master data quality improvement activities across all sites in the frame of M&S master data playbook 

• Identify any master data quality and availability issues and propose solutions and remediation (continuous improvement spirit) 

Key accountabilities 

• Represent your team in business operations leadership meetings as well as projects (on demand)  

• Collect and raise continuous improvement (CI) measures to improve collaboration between business operations and business stakeholders, prepare relevant materials to obtain senior leadership buy-in 

• Understand and put in place effective governance mechanism:  

• Regular performance reviews of team 

• To motivate team members to improve everyday 

• To ensure required skills of team members and increase retention rate 

• Identify and leverage synergies across the different teams within MD business operations 

• Be the first level of escalation for your team 

• Liaise with key business stakeholders (e.g. Business Process / System Owner) 

• Lead a team performing the following activities: 

• Guarantee M&S Master Data quality & availability at the target 

• Ensure the prioritization of topics (backlogs) and DataLab release planning (bi-weekly) 

• Animate weekly team meeting to review backlogs, study the feasibility of new needs and assess the team capacity/resources 

• Sharing reporting results with dedicated target groups / data & process manager role (DPM) 

• Preparing the execution of internal assessments / capability reviews by providing relevant data analysis and data situation report 

• Preparing MD deactivation analysis and executing deactivations operations according to relevant policies and instructions 

• Driving continuous improvement for Master DataLab efficiency by identifying and raising initiatives to respective team lead 

• Supporting Master DataLab evolutions, projects, and improvement initiatives, including cleansing initiatives and migrations 

• Providing input for documentation, training materials, and knowledge management 

• Supporting MD community on site level, for instance conduct impact analyses for upcoming site project 

• Contributing to the education of the MD community  

About you  

Preferred skills/expertise/experience: 

Experience:  

• Minimum 5 years as team leader in Master Data Management with a focus on data quality / analytics with knowledge of pharma industry (e.g., GxP) 

Skills/expertise: 

• Strong understanding of Master Data Management and data governance frameworks  

• Data Governance in industrial environment, Industrial Master Data Domains (Product, BOM, Recipe, Work center, Data Skills (SQL, Power BI, AI usage), Master SAP master data tables. 

• Work experience / educational background in data analytics (covering supply chain mgmt. / logistics / pharma quality mgmt. / pharma manufacturing) 

• Mandatory English, preferably languages for key markets (French)​

• Be a good communicator and leader to resolve ad-hoc issues
