Senior Associate – ERP Quality Engineering (Manual & Automated Testing)
Position Summary
The Senior Associate will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and automating testing activities for large-scale ERP and digital transformation programs. The role requires a strong blend of functional ERP testing expertise, test management, and automation capabilities to ensure high-quality software delivery across complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Functional & Manual Testing
- Perform end-to-end testing for ERP implementations and transformation programs involving Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, and related enterprise platforms.
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows to design comprehensive test plans and test scenarios.
- Create detailed test cases, test scripts, test data, and traceability matrices from high-level requirements.
- Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Validate complex business processes including:
- Order to Cash (O2C)
- Procure to Pay (P2P)
- Record to Report (R2R)
- Lead to Cash (L2C)
- Supply Chain and Warehouse Operations
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using established defect management processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and development teams to ensure solution quality.
Test Automation
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites using both codeless and code-based automation frameworks.
- Build automation solutions using tools such as:
- Leapwork
- Playwright
- Enhance and optimize automation frameworks to improve coverage, maintainability, and execution efficiency.
- Analyze automation execution results and provide recommendations for quality improvements.
- Support regression testing strategies through automation-first approaches.
- Utilize AI to help develop automated test suites.
Test Management & Quality Engineering
- Utilize test management tools including:
- Azure DevOps
- Jira
- Create and manage test plans, test suites, test cycles, and defect workflows.
- Prepare testing metrics, status reports, defect trends, and quality dashboards.
- Participate in test estimation, planning, and risk assessment activities.
- Support test environment management and release validation activities.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing practices.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing.
- Strong experience in both manual testing and automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Salesforce.
- Experience creating detailed test scenarios and scripts from business requirements.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP business process testing (O2C, P2P, R2R, L2C).
- Experience with API testing and integration testing.
- Exposure to performance testing concepts and tools.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted testing tools and techniques to improve test design, test data generation, test automation development, defect analysis, and overall testing efficiency.
- Familiarity with generative AI platforms such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools for accelerating test case creation, automation script development, and quality engineering activities.
- Exposure to testing AI-enabled applications and generative AI solutions, including validation of AI outputs for accuracy, consistency, reliability, security, and responsible AI principles. Familiarity with common AI quality risks such as hallucinations, prompt sensitivity, non-deterministic responses, bias, data grounding issues, explainability, and model drift is preferred.
