How does the program work?
We are looking for a dynamic and creative individual to join our Category Management team as a Category Analyst. This role involves analyzing category trends and performance to identify growth opportunities and develop actionable recommendations. You will support the Category Strategy Manager in localizing the category vision and in-store principles, while assisting the team with reporting, range reviews, planograms, and creating Category Plans that drive profitable and sustainable growth with our customers.
Additionally, you will aid the Category Leadership team in data-driven decision-making and activation, bringing the global confectionery vision and in-store leadership principles to life locally. The role requires working with diverse data sources and category management tools to support assortment, ranging, and planogram development, ultimately helping to identify opportunities that foster sustainable category growth.
What will be your key responsibilities:
- Analyse category, customer & channel trends and performance to identify future growth opportunities and formulate appropriate recommendations, ensuring sustainable category growth.
- Develop and deliver relevant reporting and analysis to underpin the category leadership agenda and key customer category relationships.
- Work with the Category Strategy Manager to localise the category vision, provide understanding of the shopper, channel & customer trends and quantify category drivers and platforms to inform prioritisation of growth opportunities.
- Based on global in-Store leadership principles, deliver analysis and support development of local recommendations and solutions to drive Confectionery conversion at the 3 key locations in store (Main Aisle, Transaction Zone & Secondary Displays).
- Delivery of ongoing Category, Channel & Customer reporting to support the Customer Category team and to inform the demand organisation.
- Day to day management of data sources e.g. Neilson and category tools.

Education & Qualifications:
- Recent graduates or postgraduates (up to 2-3 years’ experience) are welcome to apply.
- Strong category and customer understanding with excellent analytical skills
Experience & Skills:
- Preferred proven results in FMCG/consumer products
- Ability to analyse and interpret data from multiple sources, translating insights into clear strategies and actions
- Commercially focused, with strong relationship-building and influencing skills
- Confident in using data to support recommendations
- Proficient IT and category management tool skills
- In-store or customer-facing experience, with the ability to develop engaging category solutions
- Preferred experience in Field Sales, Merchandising, Consumer/Customer Marketing, or Shopper Insights
