About the Role
The AWS Marketplace Sales Associate, Intl is responsible for driving incremental pipeline growth within Atlassian's client base by leveraging strategic partnerships and collaborating with Atlassian sellers on the AWS Marketplace. This role will champion the value of Atlassian and the AWS partnership, as well as, the AWS Marketplace procurement to educate Atlassian customers, partners, and sellers on its benefits and operational best practices.
In this capacity, the associate will work cross-functionally with Atlassian's Marketplace Lead, Partner Managers, Sales teams, and the AWS Partnership team to ensure the seamless execution of private offers and channel private offers. Acting as an internal advocate, the manager will promote Atlassian's AWS Marketplace vision and goals, ensuring customer expectations are not only met but exceeded.
Success in this role will be measured by AWS Marketplace revenue attainment, the number of executed CPPOs, and the successful completion of all AWS Marketplace go-to-market activities. Progress against these metrics will be reviewed quarterly with Atlassian's Marketplace Lead and AWS Partnership leadership
- Build and expand sales pipelines by engaging Atlassian customers and procurement teams, positioning the value of AWS Marketplace.
- Lead Marketplace pilot programs and expansion initiatives across international regions.
- Coordinate and execute sales plays with key stakeholders, Partner Managers, and sellers to drive adoption in high-propensity accounts.
- Manage private services listings and provide deal support by understanding AWS Marketplace operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of private and channel private offers.
- Advocate for the AWS Marketplace strategy internally, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer needs.
- Experience with AWS Marketplace and the AWS Partner Network
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth in cloud SaaS, XaaS, or managed/professional services
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding experiences
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapt to shifting priorities
- Experience selling service provider products and services, including co-sell and channel models
- Effective time management and organizational skills; able to work independently and in matrixed teams
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years in cloud/SaaS business development or partner management; 1+ year in channel or co-sell roles
