About the job
The Red Hat Services Marketing team is looking for a Senior Manager for Marketing Communications to join us in Raleigh, NC or remotely. In this role, you will be a part of the Global Services Marketing team and responsible for managing the team, as well as developing and carrying out key programs to generate demand, increase revenue, retain customers, increase adoption, and build enterprise and learner-level brand awareness for Red Hat's portfolio of Consulting and Customer Success offerings. You will work closely with the broader corporate marketing, regional and field marketing, and channel marketing teams to create integrated programs and thought leadership that lead to continued growth in the Consulting business. You will also interact with other Program Marketing Managers, integrating Red Hat Consulting messages and offerings into the different campaigns for our offerings and solutions and corporate marketing efforts. You'll need to have excellent management, communication, and coordination skills, the ability to create comprehensive programs, proven management experience, and expertise working with and directly supporting services and marketing teams in a technology company.
What you will do

  • Understand the main business goals of the Red Hat Customer Success and Consulting teams when interacting with the services leadership and regional leadership teams
  • Be the main point of contact between business leadership and marketing leadership and develop and implement marketing programs to promote demand generation, awareness of the Services portfolio and increase adoption of Red Hat software
  • Manage the strategy, marketing plan, and quarterly business updates for the Consulting Marketing team
  • Work with Marketing Operations and regional operations teams to develop an actionable scorecard for measuring performance and results
  • Manage and mentor team for career performance, growth, and progression
  • Collaborate with Red Hat Services and Services Marketing teams to develop and carry out activities to help promote outcome-based marketing programs and cross-services messaging, content, and expertise and vision
  • Collaborate with the Services team to develop enterprise-level marketing and sales enablement materials (content, case studies, thought leadership, competitive comparisons, etc.) that effectively position Red Hat Services
  • Track campaign and event results, measuring program success and reporting metrics through Salesforce.com (SFDC) aligning with the goals and KPIs of the Global Services Marketing team and the Regional Demand Center
  • Guide the integration of consulting services into regional marketing plans and cross-services messaging and marketing plans
  • Manage the financial budget for Consulting Marketing activities
  • Give visibility and reporting on a timely basis, both to the corporate organization and regional leaders


What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA is a plus
  • 10+ years of B2B program marketing experience, preferably in the technology field; enterprise infrastructure software marketing experience is a big plus
  • Record of promoting campaign and marketing program results
  • Experience with services or professional services marketing
  • Positive attitude and a good work ethic; great organizational and communication skills
  • Understanding of sales needs, different stages of the customer buying cycle, campaign metrics and analysis, and market intelligence resources
  • Demonstrated management skills and creativity
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Experience in a multinational environment is a plus
