What You'll Do:
The Webex Marketing Team is looking for a self-motivated and experienced Product Marketing Manager to support our Webex Events portfolio, focusing primarily on the Socio product, a hybrid event platform for virtual and in-person events. The Product Marketing Manager will be a subject matter expert in all things Socio and work on a cross-functional team to develop messaging, positioning, go-to-market strategy and new feature introduction process for this immensely important product for the Webex business. Here's some of what you'll get to do:
  • Assist in the development of annual marketing priorities, quarterly marketing objectives, and execution of the go-to-market strategy.
  • Work with the broader Webex Suite and Events Portfolio marketing teams to emphasize the value of Socio as part of the Webex product family through messaging, positioning, and campaigns.
  • Partner closely with Product Management to prioritize product roadmap and reporting, and develop product positioning and messaging that aligns with product priorities.
  • Develop marketing content for product launches, including website copy, press releases, blogs, infographics, eBooks, videos, social media, webinars and podcasts.
  • Develop sales enablement collateral, including customer presentations and sales training materials, to support Field and Partner enablement.
  • Work with compete team to understand competitive intelligent insights relevant to Webex products
  • Explore additional opportunities for product lead growth through strategic partnerships
  • Collaborate with broader marketing team on brand and product awareness tracking, and with field marketing on buyer persona profile and journey.
  • Work with Analyst Relations team to ensure accurate representation of Webex in relevant analyst reports.

Who You'll Work With
The Webex Product Marketing team works closely with our Marketing counterparts in Integrated Marketing, Content Marketing, and Demand Generation, as well as the Product Management, Sales/Field/Partner Enablement and Customer Success teams. We also work closely with the Press Relations, Analyst Relations and Customer Advocacy teams. The products we develop and market touch hundreds of millions of end users directly, giving them the tools to be more productive, agile and stay better connected. You will have the opportunity to market an award-winning product portfolio and work with some of the industry's best designers, engineers and product management teams.
Who You Are
  • You have 5-7 years of experience in product marketing and/or integrated marketing in high tech industry.
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in marketing or a relevant field
  • You hold an MBA (preferred)
  • You have strong experience in crafting value propositions, positioning and messaging
  • You have delivered compelling marketing content (e.g. blogs, webinars, eBooks, etc.) and sales enablement collateral (e.g. customer-facing presentations)
  • You must be a self-starter and comfortable working with large cross-functional, globally distributed teams
