The Kroger Customer Team is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will work with stakeholders at Kroger to grow the business relationship with P&G. This role requires comfort with working cross-functionally with marketing teams, sales teams, and Kroger partners to develop digital business strategy and execute on category growth. In this role, we are not only looking for someone who can execute, but rather someone who is strategic-minded and can lead top-to-top conversations to drive growth in digital.

  • Demand Creation Execution
    • Lead Execution of Marketing Playbooks across key categories.
    • Own the marketing activation calendar across key categories and link back to the category teams and cross-functional partners.
    • Align contribution of marketing to Sales Team, Track Results, and Identify areas for optimization - including focus on delivering stewardship.
  • Scale Merchandising Execution
    • Develop and update Scale Calendar / Offers and work details back with each Sales-Category Team, and RBU.
    • Partner with Marketing Leader on execution of major scale events and calendar.
    • Own development of sell-in catalogues and visuals (display, circular, etc.).
  • Community Impact Execution
    • Develop Center of Excellence for all Community Impact executions - including development of calendar, planning, budget, and seamless execution.
    • Develop process to track / measure success and impact of each Community Activation.
  • Sales Process & Marketing Center of Excellence
    • Organize the Marketing Workflow, Process, Manage Timelines, PACE model, and Calendar of Events - Document the process & Deploy / Update as needed.
    • Establish Center of Excellence - Develop RBU org chart, BCD Calendars, Kroger Calendars, Display Plans, Coupon Plans, Mod Reset Dates, Strike Zones, Display Plans.
    • Own relationships with branded Entertainments and other key internal players.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: College Degree and/or higher education. Open to Sales or Marketing/Brand Leaders with experience and/or passion for winning in Digital and growing in the Shopper Marketing space.
  • Working experience managing projects independently.
  • Level of proficiency working with Microsoft Office: Advanced.
  • Ability to commute into the city of Cincinnati at the Cincinnati General Offices 3 days per week minimum with flexibility on remaining days.
  • Looking for candidates who are excited to explore a marketing role that encompasses responsibility for end-to-end execution of business processes, communication with key stakeholders, deployments, and continual improvements.
