Manager, Brand Tech Marketing Websites Lead
The Capital One Brand Marketing team is seeking a tech marketing web manager and experience strategist for our ecosystem of websites in support of our tech marketing goals. This position will work closely with marketing strategy partners to form a web strategy that supports driving awareness and education around Capital One’s technology leadership in service of both product growth and talent objectives.
What You’ll Do
We’re looking for an experienced web marketing strategist who can work across multiple teams and stakeholders to develop and implement grounded strategic plans to manage and optimize our Tech site properties. The person in this role will manage complex projects in our collaborative environment, often managing multiple projects across multiple web platforms simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be an experienced digital marketer with a proven track record in web management, marketing strategy, testing, and research.
Role Responsibilities
Develop and present the web channel strategy for the Tech Site and other related web properties in support of the Tech Marketing Program’s goals and narrative
Drive adoption of this strategy by leading a team of 1-2 associates and partnering with other stakeholders, content creators and other channel strategists
Expand and drive the Tech Site’s role in the audience journey with top of funnel awareness into eliciting user action
Facilitate learning through qualitative and quantitative research including UX analysis, competitor/peer review and A/B component testing to continually improve the site experience
Lead strategic decision-making process to guides prioritization of development and design resources that support site development, site maintenance and hygiene processes
Lead SEO strategy to ensure site content aligns with SEO best practices and increases organic search rankings and traffic
Partner with analysts to report out channel KPIs to leadership and stakeholders by drawing out insights and building to a larger story that influences strategic direction
Provide support for paid digital and social media campaigns

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 5 years of experience in a digital marketing role
At least 1 year of experience in a strategic SEO role
At least 1 year of experience in a website management role
Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of experience in Tech or B2B marketing
3 or more years of experience in a strategic website manager role
3 or more years of experience in a strategic SEO role
3 or more years of experience working within a large company
Ability to demonstrate influence when working with partners to gain commitment for projects and initiatives.
