Position Overview

Are you a sustainability communications professional? We are looking for a strong ESG/sustainability marketer to join our team to support, scale, and amplify Autodesk's impact initiatives. The role is responsible for designing strategic marketing and communications programs to help us scale our impact, in alignment with Autodesk's corporate impact strategy, delivering value for the Autodesk brand and business.

The Impact Marketing Specialist (Sustainability Leadership) will partner with stakeholders across the business- from sustainability, Autodesk Foundation, brand marketing, industry marketing, human resources, investor relations, government affairs, and more- to effectively elevate and amplify our sustainability and ESG efforts to stakeholders internally and externally. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of ESG reporting and communications and the ability to successfully execute integrated marketing programs. You must have excellent project management, writing, and cross team collaboration skills- and be agile in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Remote applicants welcome, close to a notable US Autodesk office

Responsibilities

Marketing

  • Design and execute on marketing strategies and tactics to elevate Autodesk's corporate leadership in sustainability
  • Lead a cross-functional team to develop and design our annual Impact Report, communicating progress across ESG/sustainability issues outlined in our corporate impact strategy to key stakeholders
  • Develop consistent corporate sustainability messaging for sustainability awards, rankings, and disclosures
  • Stay abreast of corporate sustainability marketing trends, opportunities, internal and external benchmarking, and competitive moves to inform impact marketing strategies
  • Project manage refresh of web properties communicating Autodesk's impact narrative and performance, maintaining platforms and managing future updates
  • Partner with internal communications and impact enablement teams to inspire employees to join us on our journey to becoming a more sustainable business, driving participation
  • Create and edit social media posts for amplification across Autodesk and Autodesk Foundation's digital properties



Operations

  • Design and manage systems to facilitate cross-team coordination within the Sustainability & Foundation marketing team as well as with the broader Brand & Impact team
  • Unify relevant impact content under a single system for tracking content development, measuring performance and reporting against objectives
  • Partner with Internal Impact Communications Manager to deliver a regular roundup of impact marketing highlights to inspire key internal audiences



Minimum Qualifications

  • Three years of experience in sustainability or social impact marketing or communications
  • Proven experience supporting the delivery of corporate sustainability/CSR reports
  • Understanding of key corporate ESG issues, ranging from corporate climate commitments to employee wellbeing and diversity
  • Experience executing integrated marketing initiatives from strategy to execution
  • Experience working with cross-functional marketing teams; excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to work collaboratively
  • Highly organized and proactive project management and/or web production skills, with the ability to persevere to get the job done
  • Driven, entrepreneurial, self-starter who is also flexible, and adapts easily to shifting priorities
  • Excited about the intersection of technology, design sustainability and social impact; familiarity with the design, engineering, construction industries a bonus, but not required
  • Bonus if you have experience working with energy and sustainability NGOs and advocacy groups, policy makers, and other similar stakeholders, but not required
