JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Marketing Technology Specialist, you will be instrumental in the management of the firm’s digital and web presences, including public-facing websites and microsites, social media, blogs, apps, and web/social analytics, and aligning these with the firm’s branding, communications, and business development goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Assist with implementing the firm’s digital marketing strategy.
- Own the day-to-day maintenance of the firm’s digital marketing tools including the website, blogs, and social media platforms.
- Identify and address platform-related challenges, collaborating with vendors as necessary for resolution.
- Curate and post content and images on the firm website, blogs, and social media platforms.
- Work closely with Marketing & Business Development team members to ensure timely updates are made to attorney biographies, and practice group and industry pages.
- Collaborate with multiple departments on program content for the firm website, including but not limited to alumni, pro bono, and diversity and inclusion.
- Analyze the performance of the website, blogs, and social media, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct research to identify high-impact SEO opportunities.
- Assist attorneys in optimizing their LinkedIn profiles, providing guidance and sharing effective social media strategies.
- Document and follow best practices in digital marketing.
- Act as an integral member of the client advisory publication team, including interfacing with lawyers, posting content to the website, and assisting with the email distribution as needed. Stay abreast of new and best-in-class digital marketing tools in the market.
- Maintain knowledge of firm news and events.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Marketing Technology Senior Manager, or as necessary to support departmental/firm objectives.
SKILLS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Experience with digital marketing and analytical tools including, or comparable to, Sitecore, WordPress, GA4, Sendible, SEMRush, Haiilo, and Vuture
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at once and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated initiative, responsiveness, and reliability
- Proficiency in SEO concepts, techniques, and best practices
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism and commitment to client service
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of legal services
- Advanced proficiency in English language usage, including punctuation, spelling, grammar, and writing skills
- Advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (preferably in Marketing or Communication)
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional services/law firm experience (required)
