We have a great opportunity to join our Marketing Team at our Corporate branch in Plymouth, MN as a Marketing Technology Specialist. The Marketing Technology Specialist is responsible for driving the company’s digital marketing infrastructure, customer engagement strategy, and automation initiatives through ecommerce management, CRM optimization, AI‑enabled solutions, and digital engagement execution. This role serves as the operational bridge between Sales, Marketing, IT, Purchasing, and vendor partners to ensure customers experience a modern, consistent, and data‑driven interaction with the company while advancing technology capabilities through automation, analytics, AI integration, ecommerce enhancements, CRM management, and digital engagement strategies. Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee and optimize the ecommerce platform, ensuring accurate product content, strong usability, and continuous improvement. This includes coordinating enhancements, monitoring performance, and supporting SEO and digital merchandising.
- Drive customer adoption of ecommerce tools by partnering with Sales and branch teams, providing training, and supporting customer-facing demonstrations that increase online ordering engagement.
- Serve as administrator for the Whitecup CRM, maintaining workflows, data integrity, reporting structures, and user access while ensuring consistent usage across the organization.
- Monitor ecommerce, CRM, and digital engagement analytics to identify trends, growth opportunities, and performance insights that guide strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement AI driven and automated workflows that enhance communication, reporting visibility, campaign execution, and operational efficiency across departments.
- Support deployment and optimization of marketing technology platforms, including integrations between CRM, ecommerce, and marketing systems to improve data flow and customer experience.
- Develop digital content that elevates brand presence, highlights company culture, and supports customer-facing communication, maintaining consistency across all channels.
- Coordinate vendor promotions, product campaigns, events, and digital marketing calendars, ensuring timely execution and strong visibility across channels.
- Ensure consistent branding and support development of marketing materials, presentations, and internal communication assets used across the company.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, IT, Purchasing, Operations, and vendor partners to support digital initiatives, technology adoption, and customer-facing improvements.
- Present analytics insights, campaign performance, and process improvement recommendations to leadership, providing clear, actionable guidance based on data.
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of sales experience preferred, ideally in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, construction, wholesale distribution, or building products.
- Experience managing key accounts, complex customers, contractors, builders, public entities, or institutional accounts preferred.
- Experience with government procurement, public-sector sales, cooperative purchasing, RFQs, RFPs, bids, or contract programs preferred.
- Experience with energy-efficiency programs, utility rebates, vendor rebate programs, or incentive-based selling preferred.
- Prior experience leading or coaching sales professionals preferred.
- Strong ability to develop new business, manage customer relationships, negotiate, and close sales.
- Ability to analyze sales data, track KPIs, manage pipeline activity, and adjust strategy based on performance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, CRM tools, and order management systems.
- HRIS and talent management experience
- Eclipse experience preferred.
- Wholesale distribution experience preferred.
- Product knowledge across Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC preferred.
- Valid US Driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Clean driving record
